I think at this point I can say that this morning writing project has become a habit. My brain has become rewired enough that as soon as my feet hit the floor out of bed I ask myself what I’m going to be writing about today. I have dutifully hit my goal of writing for at least 5 minutes every morning. The challenge has now become one of content. The format of writing something to post every single morning is a grind. The reality is that some things I would like to potentially cover will take more than 5 minutes and will likely require some research. The longer things that I have written seem to have generated enough curiosity that people have read them, unlike my shorter, more diary-like writings.
So I think it is time for a shift. Time to take multiple days to dive deeper into a topic that I can sink my teeth into a little bit deeper. I suspect this is going to present a new challenge. One of continuity. While I will be able to contemplate and edit more effectively, I do have concern that I could lose threads of thoughts that may leave my mind after a few hours away. Heading into a weekend seems like a good time to pursue this change, however.
